The company that G2 just ranked #1 among all web hosts is evolving beyond managed WordPress into a full-stack platform for developers, agencies and enterprise teams
Los Angeles, 31March 2026 – Kinsta, a leading provider of managed hosting for WordPress, today announced the milestones of the company’s biggest year ever. Building on its recent recognition as the #1 web hosting platform in the G2 Best Software Awards, Kinsta saw customer growth of more than 60% compared to the previous year, hired two top executives, expanded its partner programs, and made significant platform improvements for agencies and enterprise teams to run WordPress at scale.
In the past 12 months, Kinsta has added 65,000 new sites to the platform, bringing its total customer base to more than 230,000 in 128 countries. Current clients include Barnes & Noble’s LoudCloud, The Jane Goodall Institute, McDonald’s, TripAdvisor, University of Michigan, Calm, ClickUp, NASA and Konica Minolta.
“Web traffic is changing rapidly as businesses using WordPress become more sophisticated and sophisticated,” said Jon Penland, CEO of Kinsta. “Our growth shows the market needs a host designed to handle today’s technology landscape. We built Kinsta to be the platform of choice for serious teams when all else fails, and customers tell us it works.”
Eric Zuckerman joins Kinsta as Chief Financial Officer, with more than 14 years of experience leading private equity and venture-backed technology companies through growth and transformation. He was most recently Chief Financial Officer at Datasembly and previously held finance leadership roles at Appspace.
Eric Zuckerman follows the addition of Chief Marketing Officer Matt Reid, who joined Kinsta in June 2025 from his previous role as Senior Vice President of BigCommerce.
“The rest of the industry is focusing on impersonal bots and frustrating self-service, but we’ve doubled down on the human element with our WordPress experts,” said Reid. “We emphasize customer service because it is what makes the difference for our customers in their daily business. This decision is reflected in our retention numbers, our referrals and, ultimately, our growth.”
Kinsta has revamped its Partner Agency Program and its Affiliate Partner Program, with a three-tiered program aligned with engagement and performance. Agency partners earn commissions, referrals and co-marketing partnerships based on their level. Affiliates earn lifetime commissions with access to Kinsta resources and tier-based affiliate marketing support.
“We moved to Kinsta in 2025 and the difference from our last host was amazing,” said Vin Thomas, founder of Fixel. “Kinsta’s support team is always available when we need them. Plus, the platform works simply. Setup, updates and day-to-day management are easier and faster. This saves us time and makes our customers happy. Hosting is now a worry, giving us peace of mind that our customers’ sites are in good hands.”
Over the past year, Kinsta has invested heavily in products that help WordPress owners and developers manage at scale. Many agency clients, for example, manage dozens or hundreds of client sites and have teams with very strict security and access control requirements. To address these business needs, these updates aim to eliminate credit management, manual workflows, limited data visibility, and switching between tools that lead to wasted resources, IT overhead, and security risks.
The main additions of the last 12 months
API extension: the new endpoints cover site recovery, domain verification, DNS record management, plugin and theme inventory, WP-CLI command execution, usage data, phpMyAdmin access, activity log recovery, and SSH/SFTP configuration management.
SSO: SAML SSO support through Okta and other providers; One-click access to phpMyAdmin and WP-Admin from your Kinsta dashboard.
Prices based on bandwidth: Launched in November 2025, it gives customers a choice between visit-based and bandwidth-based plans and the ability to easily switch between them, addressing the increasing share of traffic generated by bots and AI.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
